I used it as a sandwich layer between my home stitching just to get my bag through. Don’t waste the money just send your gear in for repair professionally. Not even worth keeping as an emergency patch. Review: Works easily and holds well - I have an old heavy tent and I had lent it out and when they came back through his holes and slits in it. I used this tape works real well it was easy to. The only problem that I found was the expense it has two pieces that are 3 in by 5 in. you can tell on my white tent that there's been a patch but it does not look that bad and it's working so well who cares. If you are doing several holes it can get expensive. But it feels like a real good seal. On one hole I did the top and underside because there was material missing. Hope this helps ## Features - An ideal gift - Made of strong, strong nylon fabric - Silicone-based adhesive - Weather resistant ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00HAPQCAK | | Adhesive Format | Silicone | | Adhesive Location | BACKING | | Adhesive Material | Silicone | | Adhesive Side Count | 1 | | Best Sellers Rank | #52,015 in Sporting Goods ( See Top 100 in Sporting Goods ) #43 in Camping Tent Repair Kits | | Brand | GEAR AID | | Brand Name | GEAR AID | | Color | Clear | | Colour | Clear | | Compatible Material | Silnylon, Silpoly Nylon, Vinyl | | Configuration | 2 x 3" x 5" patches | | Country Of Origin | Taiwan | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 881 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00021563106701 | | Included Components | GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Silnylon Patches for Silicone Tent and Tarp Repair, 3”x5” | | Item Length | 3 Inches | | Item Resistance | water resistant, weather resistant | | Item Type Name | Silnylon Patches | | Item Weight | 10 Grams | | Manufacturer | GEAR AID | | Material | Nylon | | Material Type | Nylon | | Model | 10670 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Peel-and-Stick, User-Friendly, Waterproof, Washable, Durable | | Part Number | 10670 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Outdoor | | Recommended uses for product | Outdoor | | Size Name | 3"x5" | | Special features | Peel-and-Stick, User-Friendly, Waterproof, Washable, Durable | | Surface Recommendation | synthetic fabric | | UPC | 021563106701 215631067012 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** GEAR AID - **Colour:** Clear - **Material:** Nylon - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Recommended uses for product:** Outdoor ## Images ![GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Silnylon Patches for Silicone Tent and Tarp Repair, 3”x5” - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718xI9t0oeL.jpg) ![GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Silnylon Patches for Silicone Tent and Tarp Repair, 3”x5” - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710Rqk1FhXL.jpg) ![GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Silnylon Patches for Silicone Tent and Tarp Repair, 3”x5” - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71CraVsMsiL.jpg) ![GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Silnylon Patches for Silicone Tent and Tarp Repair, 3”x5” - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/910aHW2W8qL.jpg) ![GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Silnylon Patches for Silicone Tent and Tarp Repair, 3”x5” - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91ldOXFnxYL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Just pay to have your gear repaired *by L***B on 8 November 2022* Got it to path a sip nylon bag and the adhesive was shot before I even pulled the back of the patch off.
