I'm having a hard time finding high heat paint that comes in a gloss and not flat finish.** A: Hi beth, I used this on my brake calipers and my hummer h3 muffler, so far it's still there no chipping , I think this will hold on your cook top , brakes and mufflers heats up over 900 degrees , hope this help, **Q: Can I just paint over existing caliper paint?
