## Description

Mefix Self-Adhesive Fabric Tape. Width: 2" (5cm), Quantity: 1 Roll Porous, nonwoven fabric ensures air and water vapor permeability. Stretchable fabric conforms well to body contours and allows unrestricted movement. Non-absorbent to prevent blood and fluid strike-through. Provides secure fixation, while remaining gentle on the skin. Release paper is premeasured in 4' (10cm) intervals and has a perforated split backing for easy removal and application. Can easily be cut to the desired shape. Recommended for fixation of dressings, catheters and cannulas, especially on the neck, elbow and knee. In 11 yd. (10m) rolls. Latex free. Review: Great use for keeping henna on hands - I use this when I put henna on hands and it avoids the dry henna mess and allows me to keep henna overnight without causing a mess. Only downside is when removed the edges leave off some glue residue but can easily rid of that by rubbing oil on hands.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this tape leave any glue residue after being removed, perhaps after it has gotten wet from showering?**
A: Very minimal glue/adhesive, if any.  we usually take it off before showering but it's gotten wet from sweat, rain, and occasionally in the shower and still peels off nicely with minimal to no residue. Sharp scissors work well when cutting it so the edges don't curl and tape on itself. Has measurements in the back that make it easy to determine size each time. Very good product vs using bandaids.

**Q: Is this waterproof as I need something that stays on in the shower?**
A: I would not say it is waterproof, but the adhesive is very good and I take showers with it on.  I do change it after showering since the media, gauze, etc. It is holding gets wet.

**Q: Picture shows a square, but description says roll - which is it?**
A: It comes in a roll, 2" width by 11 yrds length. You can cut it as you wish: square, triangle, round, oval, rectangle, etc.

**Q: How does this tape compare to 3M Medipore tape?**
A: Medipore tape was our first choice but the suppliers no longer carried it.  Mefix Self-Adhesive Fabric Tape has worked very well.  Most other tape cause blisters.
