## Description

Carhartt Men’s WP Mittens (A616) are all-purpose winter mittens. Made with ultrasoft insulation, waterproof inserts, and sweat wicking technology, these mittens will keep your hands warm and dry when the temperature plummets. Durable, reinforced mitten shells with grippy palms allow your hands to effectively work outside on cold days. Soft fleece cuffs have adjustable wrist straps to keep out snow and slush. Review: Well made, warm but take care on sizing - I understand some of the size comments left by others - I normally wear large gloves for a snug fit - due to a hand injury, I needed a much bigger fit so went for xxl in these and they weren’t exactly roomy. I’d say if you are normally an L or XL in gloves, you’re probably best off going for the XXL. They are good value for what you’re getting, they are well made, warm and comfortable. These appearing to be durable will be my go-to mitts on the coldest days for years to come - happy to recommend, but be careful regarding sizing.

**Q: Is the lining open inside as a "true" mitten - or does the lining separate the fingers?**
A: June, Hi. The lining is open inside like a true mitten; it does not separate the fingers. I find these gloves to be quite warm. The only minor issue I have with them is that sometimes my fingers will sweat inside the mittens and I need to make sure they dry completely before wearing them again.

**Q: Has anyone tried these gloves with double rag wool mittens inside as liners? Is there room for them?**
A: I imagine it depends on the size of you hands and whether or not you can oversize the Carhartt gloves enough to accept the added bulk.  I would put on the rag wool mittens and check the sizing with them on you hands.  Then check the size availability of the Cahartt gloves.  Good luck.

**Q: Do these mittens have finger dividers inside?**
A: No they are Mittens.

**Q: Is the lining like fleece or is it more like a rip-stop nylon?**
A: According to the label, the lining is 100% polyester.  It isn't fleece-like.

I have purchased a few pairs of mitts for a family friend who has had a stroke. I purchased size L the sizing is good.He is able to get both mitts on. They are good quality,comfortable and keep his hands warm and dry.

I've used these for winter hiking in the snow on Dartmoor. Kept my hands toasty warm and they're extremely durable. These are mits rather than gloves so be aware thwyrennicgood for dexterous finger work but totally fine for holding a walking pole loosely if needed. Recommend if you don't need to do anything delicate with your fingers whilst out and about.
