The foam-like one with the same pattern as this is also really good but after a few months of use, the foam starts to wear. I don't know if this will be the same but so far the grip is a lot better. The sharkskin pattern rubber one is really really bad. It's slippery and the adhesive starts to break apart only after a few weeks and is a pain to get off. I can't tell if the adhesive on this will be good but so far I can tell that it's similar to the foam one that I liked. I really do hope that the adhesive doesn't turn into a messy goo. I will update if it does. So far It's really nice. Claw grip or palm grip, these grip pads will work. UPDATE: These are holding up really well and the adhesive is not squishing out like some of the other ones I've tried. It's a good sign that there won't be residue when I replace them down the line.
