Our price is $1.45 a bottle plus shipping. **Q: You buy one bottle for $1.27 and now the price is $5.49?** A: I don't know where the $1.27 amount comes from. When an item is put on Amazon the price has to reflect the percentage that Amazon takes of the order. Also the fact that postage is usually higher than the credit we receive from Amazon. When I send out a Pet Ag 2 oz. bottle I get a postage credit of $4.99. The last one I sent out cost me $8.45 to mail. When you combine the Amazon percentage and the cost of postage I have paid out more than I have invested in the item. I have been foster caring for over twenty years for felines and many come in needing bottles. This is one brand I know will be quality. I have purchased the cheaper bottle sets with the white nipples and the kittens won’t use them. I have yet to have a baby refuse this Nipple! And yes, some only like certain nipples!The nipple comes with no hole in it so depending on the age of the kitten will determine the size hole. For tiny babies I heat up a thick sewing needle and push it through.I heat up water in a mug for 2 mins and put the cold milk in the bottle and set the bottle in the water to heat it.
