It that normal? I’m afraid it may mold inside.** A: The floater comes apart much easier if you go from the inside circles and pry from there. It’s really not that hard. I clean it once a week, along with the rest of the pieces(which you should do with whatever water dispenser you use) I’ve never seen mold or anything else weird growing or hanging out in there. **Q: Will this keep his chIn and chest dry?** A: Not really. The pressure of there mouth holds the weight down while drinking so that the water is available. My two figured out very quickly. I have terrier with beards and I always had a sloppy meson the floors after they would drink. This has solved the problem. My daughter has the same bowl and is very pleased with it for her 2 dogs too.
