I have used Topix and it really didn't do anything** A: I use maybe dime size on my thin shoulder length hair. Does not weigh my hair down. I do style with round brush for volume. **Q: What are the ingredients?** A: I'm not sure but its good stuff i usually apply it while my hair is wet and then blow dry it.... thick looking hair! **Q: Do you have to blow dry hair to make this product help make your hair have more volume?** A: Good question. I don't blowdry my hair, but when the gel dries, I do brush it through again. **Q: Will it last the whole day?** A: I put it on damp air, air dry my hair, then style.
