Made with a thin layer of oil between two plies of 7 mil film (6.5mil & 7.5mil for Hydraulic Black), these heads not only suppress unwanted overtones, but are also famously easy to tune. This set has had a few different sets of heads and never sounded very well until we put these on. While it is no high end set this had the conductor stop dead in her tracks to make sure we did not pull out our good concert set out. Very impressive tonality, response, and ease of tuning. I would highly suggest these as if it could make the practice junk drum sound this well I can't wait to put them on the high end set. I paired them with Evan G1 resonate heads.
