Size 8.25? Having a hard time finding any hat that does.** A: My head is 24” and it fits fine. Not loose but not snug. Fits like a stocking cap which has stretch- give. I would imagine it would fit fine. **Q: Is the visor made of cardboard?** A: The visor is the same knitted material as the rest of the cap with a stiffener for shaping. I don't know the material but if feels sturdier than cardboard, like plastic **Q: Is it completely fleece lined?** A: Yes it is completely lined with a soft fleece. It is so comfortable and warm. **Q: what is the spf rating?** A: The hat did not come with a SPF rating.
