The NanoStation5 is a reliable solution for high performance and can work in extreme temperature and weather conditions. NanoStation M5: 5GHz Hi Power 2x2 MIMO AirMax TDMA Station. The original NanoStation set the bar for the world's first low-cost and efficiently designed outdoor broadband CPE. The new NanoStation M and NanoStation Loco M take the same concept to the future with new redesigned sleek and elegant form-factors. 150+ Mpbs real outdoor throughput and up to 15km+ range. Featuring 2x2 MIMO technology, the new NanoStation links significantly faster and farther than ever before. New antenna array designs featuring 16dBi dual-polarity gain at 5GHz. Secondary ethernet port with software enabled POE output for seamless IP Video integration. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: We are only getting 8-10 mbps through dsl and their  smartrg modem. we only need to go 200 ft to workshop. so my question is will this work with dsl?**
A: It will work but one of the units must be plugged in to the dsl via cable and must have a direct line of sight with the other unit, which will be plugged into an electrical outlet in your building.

**Q: Can these be used as a bridge for security cameras? and if so what cameras would i need?**
A: Yes they can be used to bridge anything that is ethernet based. You could hardwire in a POE switch on the far side and then hang multiple POE cameras off of it or you could hang another access point off of it and then use wireless cameras that were within range of the access point. It all really depends on how many cameras you need and what type. You can easily hang 15 4k cameras over this connection. I've done it with another customer install and it works great.

**Q: I plan on using this as a wifi extender from house to garage.  What other equipment is needed that is not included in this package?**
A: Modem at house and router at garage. cat cables length from unit to house and unit to garage. They need power to power them up.

**Q: can these radios be powered by Ethernet?**
A: They are powered by either Poe switch or the Poe injector supplied with M5 nanostation.
