Does this adapter incorporate that 120 ohms internally or do I still need the resistor?** A: Termination is only required when both length of line and baud rate affect propagation delay. I've used this adapter without a problem with a few different components with lengths way under 1000ft and never needed a termination resistor. You may have to double check line length and baud rate to verify propagation delay in nanosec to confirm whether you'll need a terminator. I hope this helps. **Q: is that really a Mini USB? it looks like a Male B USB connector.** A: It is a Full Size Male USB Connector, not Mini USB. It works really good... and I find it surprising it says Mini; I don't remember it saying that back when I bought it.
