I did somehow manage to snap the last 2 pieces of the rod off. That being said I dont know if it was my fault, the rods, fault, a defect I really am not sure. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new rod right away, I actually think they sent me a slightly longer better one than the one I initially had so I truly have nothing but good things to say. It is a really solid telescopic rod. It is very compact easy to throw in the trunk of my car. The reel is actually a very smooth reel much smoother than anything youll get on a combo at a big box stores. The sensitivity on the rod is great you can feel bites really well. It is just a great addition to the fishing kit. I use this combined with a much smaller zebco telescopic thats only like 5.5 feet long for my bluegill fishing.
