VERY IMPORTANT: Most other telescopic waist and body tapes on Amazon have one side in centimeters and one side in inches. This is a big problem because it means you can only take length measurements in centimeters. You will get errors if you try to take length measurements in inches because the tape starts at 2 inches. Same goes for if you try to take circumference measurements in centimeters-- the tape will not be accurate and you will need to do math. The curved portion of the case is exactly equal to the 2-inch mark where the tape begins. As a result, the measurement you read on the tape automatically subtracts this 2 inches, and the number you read on the tape is exactly accurate!
