I don't need size of the package. What are the measurements of the plate?** A: I mistakenly trusted the answer from the manufacturer, elago, but it certainly is not 6" in diameter. It's 5", which is useless to me, as it only covers 80% of the unpainted area behind my old thermostat. **Q: What is the distance between the mounting holes. Top to bottom holes. Ty** A: The 2 holes line up with the nest thermostat back plating which is pictured. You can see here in this video. **Q: Can this mount be placed on the wall reversed?** A: I don't think so as the Thermostat needs to be flush to plug into base in wall. **Q: Does this match ‘sand’ color of the Nest?
