Sweet Tooth Compendium

This is a story.What an amazing read. I'd highly recommend this if you love post-apocalyptic stories, in the vein of 'Y: The Last Man' or 'The Walking Dead'. Mix in some 'Fables' style literature, and boom... you've got 'Sweet Tooth'.I do want to address what a lot of other reviews are saying, that "it's not bound so well", "the pages are so thin", or "it's going to fall apart after one read". The picture I've included is after I read the entire thing myself. No structural issues. The book lays flat, cover just ever so slightly open but stays shut when upright. No pages showing signs of wear or detachment. The spine is completely flat, no crease whatsoever. Being said, just know how a books structure works, and you'll be fine. Don't be flipping it so far open, or flattening it out dramatically while reading it. Use one hand under the heavier side of the book as you go for support. This is an excellent compilation, and one I'd buy over and over again.

I watched the Netflix show first and admittedly I was a little thrown off at first by the quirky charm and whatnot, but grew to love it. I finished the series and wanted more content and I happened to see the compendium was on sale so I grabbed it on a whim, and what I got was an epic tale that has made me laugh, cry, and feel things like anger and sadness and joy. It’s a really well told story and I love these characters and I feel like they’ll stay with me for a long time. It’s a story about growing up. It’s a story about doing what you have to do. It’s a story about never losing hope. It’s a really great story.

First of all, this is an excellent graphic novel. I'm not a huge fan of the art style but the story more than makes up for it in my humble opinion!I bought it used in "like new" condition but it came with a couple of marks and and slightly bent spine. I'm not exactly complaining, but I would call that "excellent" condition and not "like new". Still love it because I'm not that picky; I'm just letting y'all know in case you choose to buy used and you really really care if it really is like new and it doesn't meet your expectations.

I read this after seeing the Netflix series based on it.The novel is quite different in many ways. Much uglier and darker, more violent and graphic. But the novel is a good dystopian fantasy

Sweet Tooth is great! This book is a little cumbersome due to the size, but I like having it all in one place. There are a few stories that are formatted horizontally, and it is kind of a chore to read them in this heavy book, but, this is the best collection for your money if you want only the story and none of the extras.

The complete series- Huge book. Loved this story. I discovered this from watching the Netflix series. I devoured it in 2 days and now will sadly wait for season 2 on Netflix. Of course the book and show have differences but I love both directions. I definitely recommend.

My son received the book as a gift. He read it from covered covering a matter of 3 days. He said it was very good kind of a surprise ending, but he really enjoyed the book.

I went on a whim and read this, it didn't seem like something I'd be interested in. But it was on many lists of the best graphic Novel. I love this story and Gus! Once I saw I could get the entire story I jumped!

Vi em alguma crítica alguém dizendo que a edição é muito simples. Discordo, é um compêndio em formato paperback (capa mole e com miolo em papel mais simples) e não um capa-dura omnibus ou revista em formato luxo. Material padrão para este tipo de publicação que visa ter volume e preço acessível. Capa em papel cartão, miolo em papel revista colado. No preço promocional que peguei, na faixa de 140 reais, foi um achado já que é o copilado dos 40 volumes da obra. A impressão é boa e sem erros, a história muito envolvente. Perfeito para quem curte um enredo de futuro distópico ou apocalíptico.Coloquei fotos para mostrar as questões do paperback em si. Com a leitura pela metade a capa já está com pequenos sinais de manuseio. As páginas apenas parecem finas demais se ficarem contraluz (o que não faz sentido pelo peso do livro, exigindo usar apoio para leitura).Queria que tivéssemos mais edições dessas "acessíveis " aqui no Brasil para termos preços mais acessíveis. Para quem não é colecionador lombadeiro, está edição é perfeita!

I got my paperback edition of 'Sweet Tooth' yesterday. A big book, with 900+ pages. Been wondering about getting this Graphic novel for a while. I'm very pleased, now that I've got it. Overall, very happy with this graphic novel. Very good. Thanks.

I saw a few reviews complaining of paper quality and the book being thin, this concerned me but I pressed on none the less. When the book arrived I found it to be rather thick and weighted, paper quality is on par with other graphic novels I own, standard comic book paper basically. Story was enjoyable and the art work has a charm to it I came to adore. I would buy it again if I could read it for the first time again.

Dostawa OK, ale niestety jestem zawiedziona kilkoma zniszczonymi stronami (zdjęcie) zwłaszcza że książka została kupiona na prezent. Nie wyglada to raczej na fabryczny defekt ale ciężko stwierdzić (?)
