Anyone have an idea as to how long this would take to heat 3-5 gal?** A: Pretty sure you'd be safe to assume 15 min or less. **Q: will this work with Evans waterless coolant?** A: These are designed to be used with conventional engine antifreeze mixed at roughly 50% soft (or distilled) water and 50% Ethylene Glycol based antifreeze. Dennis @ Advanced Service And Parts, LLC **Q: Will it work for a semitruck engine?** A: We are using the unit to pre heat the water/coolant on a small John Deere engine that is powering a 40 kw generator. It helps the diesel engine start quickly. If it’s installed properly I would think it would work in a larger engine. **Q: How long would this run if you supplied it with a 12v car battery converted to 120v** A: It would depend on the ambient temperature around the engine that you are heating, and what size and amperage/hour your car battery is.
