My granddaughter easily sits into it or leans on it and it doesn't have any support. I'm now using it as a toy box and not a place for her to play. This item is described as a playpen and I think that's a bit misleading. I do like the way it folds up small but it is very spring loaded. The first time I opened it, it popped in my face and hit my lip - ouch. No children or pets were harmed - I'm kidding of course. My 8 month old grandson crawled over it and escaped in 5 minutes. Impossible to return. Made in China.
