This feature makes possible using a lower cost and lower weight tripod such as those designed for a camera. Thus, the whole package can be easily transported.

**Q: Does this include an eyepiece?  One is shown but the listing seems to suggest it must be purchased separately.**
A: Kowa does not have any kits (complete scope packages). All the bodies and eyepieces are a la carte. There are three eyepiece options for the TSN-600 and TSN-660 series bodies. These are a 20-60x zoom, a 30x wide angle, and a 25x long eye relief.
