Overall very good. The fire starter is so small the sparks probably won't start a fire. It works better when the striker is a saw blade from a Multitool.The compass only works when the clip is unclipped because the south pole of the compass is attracted to the scraper. Look at the picture and see how close the compass is to the scraper. What this means is the every time you want to use the compass, you have to take the watch off your wrist. They should have switched the compass with the thermometer.The eTch works fine. The whistle is loud. I like it.

If it were possible to give a negative rating, we would do so. First of all, the item was shipped from China, which took 2 months. Second, when it arrived, it didn't work and furthermore, it is way too large and cannot be adjusted so it is useless for intended recipient. I strongly dislike the Amazon policy of offering these products shipped from China or any other country that requires costly return shipping if the product is defective. I'd love to see Amazon restrict itself to products shipped from within the US rather than offering everything that anyone wants to sell. At the very least, please be clear in the product description from where it will be shipped.
