I've tried ALL the flavors from CariFree and everything has a really good flavor. The grape one doesn't foam in your mouth but the Citrus and Mint one does (and most mimics regular toothpaste). Yes, after another dentist told me and showed me I had 3 cavities on the x-ray, I went to another dentist and took x-rays and they told me I had no cavities. So either the 1st dentist didn't know what they were talking about or this toothpaste made a dramatic difference. I have been using this toothpaste every day for the past six months and have not had any new cavities or teeth discomfort. Although the price is more pricer, you save on dental work, so I would recommend. You ONLY need a small amount of this gel-like toothpaste, so one tube can last up to a month. I would use it with their mouthwash as well since you wouldn't want to reverse the benefits of having this toothbrush.
