Product description Ceramic coatings is a form of paint protection. The main active component in them is SiO2 which forms a glass layer on your car's paint, giving it protection and gloss. Autokcan's ceramic coatings can last 1 to 2 years if well maintained. Hydrophobic, Anti-Scratch and High Gloss Ceramic coatings are highly hydrophobic, meaning they repel water well. Ceramic coatings also have self-cleaning properties, meaning your paint will keep itself clean of dirt, much more than traditional waxes. IPA (Isopropy Alcohol) and Iron Remover Wipe down the surface with IPA (50%-71%) to remove any waxes or oil to make the ceramic coating can properly bond with the surface. At last, use Iron Remover to help cleaning. Note: Step 1, Water Washing(Clay Bar) - Wash the car with clean water. Step 2, Cutting Compound - Depending on the condition of your paint, utilize cutting compound to remove scratches. Review: best ive tested so far - Update. I finally got it applied on my truck and this stuff is great. Put it on and don’t wait long to buff it off. I didn’t one full panel at a time. It’s pretty grabby when you’re buffing it off but so is the high dollar stuff besides the stuff that costs 113.00 but I won’t say any name. I’m sending that stuff back. So yes you can have a cheap product when great results. Time will tell if it holds up but I’ll do another update.ive tried 4 different brands and i can tell just from applying its better quality than 2 of them. the other one im still testing and will review that one later. from everything ive read about pro level ceramic coatings are they are like superglue and there is little room for error and once they are cured its not an easy fix, that is if you dont buff all of the excess off. when buffing off look at different angles to make sure all excess is removed. this ceramic flashed much faster than others ive used. i tested in a low humidity 71 degrees climate controlled room and it took less than the 2 minutes to flash. so take into account that flash times could vary drastically depending on temp and humidity. without ever using the pro grade stuff bc they wont sell it to you which is a joke this stuff goes on and buffs off exactly the way they describe the expensive pro coatings do. one of the best tests to know if the coating you got is decent is how stiff the applicator cover cloth gets after curing or at least it will tell you if your coating will get hard. thats been my experience anyways. only time will tell if it lasts as long but i will update in intervals with pictures. but so far i like what im seeing.

A: it can last up to 2 years after applied well with good paint correction

A: You can use it just about anywhere. I’d recommend using it on all glass and rims as well. Makes washing a whole lot better

**Q: Si02 percentage?**
A: Great product!

**Q: Can these be used on matte finished wheels?**
A: I’ve never used this on wheels before but I have used it on fiberglass, plastic and of course auto paint. I do not see any reason it won’t work. If you try it please get back to us.

Easy to work with; went on easy, polished out nice. Seems to be holding up well after a couple of thunder showers. I put this on a white car, I've used otther products on a black car. I think they where all pretty much the same. The only difference I noticed; a. white car is easier to work with.
