Pleae make sure the M.2 NGFF port of computer supports PCIe X4 or PCIe X2 transfer mode(The speed of SSD can reduce 50% if M.2 NGFF SSD port only supports PCIe X2 transfer mode)!M.2,SATA3 4/5 and SATA Express port of the motherboard can only choose one to use, otherwise it will cause hard disk can't identify. **Q: Can the total free enclosure fit a wd black sn750 with heatsink? thanks.** A: 1) Probably not, but why would you need a heatsink on it if you're putting it in a heatsink enclosure? 2) This enclosure has issues inherent to the design which causes communication errors, I'd recommend getting something else. **Q: Does it work as enclosure for a MacBook Pro retina 15” 2012 ssd? (7+17 pin connector)** A: No it is only compatible with M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD's. **Q: as its clicked closed, anyone have any issues with the enclosure opening unexpectedly?** A: The Sabrent USB C inclosure that I have has been fine. I have not used it that much so I do not know of continued use. I have found that the clip that holds the M.2 Drive is awkward to get into place to hold down the drive. The inclosure seems well made I do not see that there should be a problem. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sabrent USB 3.2 Type-C Tool-Free Enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe and SATA SSDs (EC-SNVE) - Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD 2TB, PCIe Gen 4x4, Gen 5x2 M.2 2280, Speeds Up-to 7,250 MB/s, Upgrade Storage for PC/Laptops, HMB Technology and Intelligent Turbowrite 2.0, (MZ-V9S2T0B/AM) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/274691310-m-2-nvme-enclosure-tool-free-nvme-and-sata](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/274691310-m-2-nvme-enclosure-tool-free-nvme-and-sata) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
