Do the bottoms of these pots and pans have an induction-compatible plate embedded in them? Thanks.** A: Funny you should ask as we also have an induction stove and found that a few other pots and pans did not work on them. The key is steel. The Viking is all steel and works great on our induction stove. I still prefer to use a non-stick fry pan that has steel in it (not really hard to find) but the Viking cookware is just fine. **Q: What type of stoves are these made for?** A: I have a electric stove and they are great love these pots and pans **Q: Anyone had this set for over a year now? How has it held up?** A: I have had this set for about 3 years, used daily. I love it. The pans have held up perfectly and have not shown any sign of being cheap or worn.
