I alternate with D3 from 'sheep's wool lanolin' Yikes, I know. :-) My holistic dr. was good with the Nordic Naturals. He did have me on the lanolin kind to raise it from a low level at the start. Castoreum is derived from beavers, a practice which would not being considered Vegan nor Kosher.
