Well now you can make your own using your own fresh quality mince and a dash of this seasoning, simply add 50g of mix to 500g of mince and 25 to 50ml of cold water, mix well and form into burger shapes, or sausage shapes on skewers or use a loaf tin to make a delicious slicing kebab, then Grill, Oven Bake or BBQ. Simple to make, a far healthier and fresher alternative to the Takeaway with all the taste, flavour and texture of the real thing. The biggest secret with this mix is that we have supplied the fast food and takeaway restaurant trade with seasonings and mixes for over 20 years. All of our special seasonings and mixes previously only supplied to "trade" customers are now available for home use in handy retail size sachets. Review: Very authentic and very simple. - Tastes great! Just like a traditional Doner. I used 500g pork mince, mixed half of this in, rolled it out flat to about 3mm and gave it 15 minutes in the oven on gas mark 6. Terrific!
Review: Really Tasty - Fancied my chances at home made doner and gave this a whirl. Myself, husband, 17 year old and 23 year old sons all tried it. I used lean meat and it dried out a little, it really does need a fatty meat. Super easy to use, although my husband did exclaim at how much seasoning was required, but the flavour didn't feel overpowering. I saw a review stating it was really salty. I'm quite sensitive to salt and can honestly say I didn't feel it was salty at all. The main thing we struggled with was how long to cook it for in the rotisserie that I bought especially for the occasion hahaha ... think we need to reduce cooking time slightly as that would also have contributed to it being somewhat dry. Overall rating is 5*'s from me and the boys, husband a 4, but he's just a moaning arse so ignore him! He's never happy haha!! I will defo by again and keep playing adjusting the mix ratio and meat fats until I feel like I've nailed it, but that's just because I have the time and I can, not particularly necessary.

**Q: Is this slimming world friendly?  (Syn value?)**
A: Hi Nutritional per 100g of dry mix as follows
Energy 296kcal / Fat 2.3g / Carbs 61g (sugars 2.7g) /Salt 16g / Protein 9.9g / Fibre 5.7g
If counting Carbs as 20g per Syn then roughly 3 Syns per 100g of mix which makes 1kg of kebab, so 1 Syn or less per serving depending on the Mince used (Lamb being fattier than Turkey for example).

**Q: How long do I cook it and at what temperature**
A: It depends very much on how and what you are cooking. My recommendation would be to roll marinade minced lamb (or meat of your choice) thinly , about 5mm thick. Put it on a baking tray in the oven at around 190° for 20 - 30 minutes maximum. You should be able to see when it's done ✅

**Q: Does this product contain milk or more precisely lactose or any bi-products of lactose?**
A: I don’t think so. It is not stated in the ingredients. I don’t have an allergy to lactose, but I do have an intolerance and I was absolutely fine. It states it contains mustard, wheat barley. He doesn’t say anything about milk, products or proteins. I highly recommend as it tastes amazing better than the kebab takeaway.

**Q: Is this gluton free?**
A: Hi No this isn't Gluten free, it has Bread Rusk (Contains Gluten) in the recipe to act as the binder for the mince.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty much like a takeaway kebab shop

As we don't eat lamb, I used really good quality mutton mince, with a high fat content, ground the mince and left the mixture overnight to marinate in the fridge, then spit roasted on a rotisserie. I did add some sumac, but the overall flavour was definitely there. Not too minty or salty, as I feared it might be. Would grill well in a block under a high heat, shaving off slices and keeping them warm under the grill, whilst the rest browns. Would also work well with beef. Grind the mince though. And go for a high fat content. Well worth trying. Packet did contain 100g.
