Rival 1-1/2-Cup Mini Chopper, White

I was given one of these previously as a gift, it lasted for years. I liked it so well I purchased another one to replace my old one, and I also purchased a second one for a gift. They are simple to use, very compact but do the job very well. I would recommend this to anyone that does a lot of food prep in smaller amounts. I use this one more often than I use the big processor because it's easier to clean and more suitable for the taask at hand. Great item.

We bought this to replace an identical unit we'd had for years. While the chopping action is really good, this unit had the same flaw as the original one in the chopping container. The locking mechanism that has to fit in the power unit in order to operate the blades is very easily broken, which happened again on the new unit. If not for this, we would have given five stars, but once broken this flaw renders the unit completely useless.

Mini choppers are a very handy thing and I've had several. This is a really nice chopper in every way but one. It has a very short cord which makes it a little awkward to manage on a crowded counter top.It was disappointing because I was so pleased with it in every other way. If you can mange the cord problem in your kitchen space, go for it. Its really worth the price.

Although, his product met most of my needs while it was working, it became useless within a month. Why?? The reason is, this product is not well made. It uses very cheap plastic which breaks very easily. To start the chopper the lid must 'click' into the right spot. However, because it is so delicate it is impossible to prevent it from breaking when you are try to twist the lid close. Total waste of money. Would suggest buying a more expensive one instead. Buy once and be done.

This lasted about a year before the lid broke. Because of the safety switch, you can't use it with a broken lid. Even from day one though, this was somewhat of a disappointment. The bowl and the lid never twisted on and off that well, and you could tell that it was just a matter of time before one of them would break. Also, the blade doesn't fit on the spindle snugly, so this chopper is much louder than it needs to be. Other than the problems I mentioned though, it did work pretty well. I never had issues with it not being able to chop something. If you had one of the old Black and Decker choppers this size, you'll be disappointed with this chopper.

It does exactly what it says. It chops about a cup of nutsat a time and chops them well. It is a little loud, butother than that I have found it to be great for preparingbaby food and chopping nuts for pies.

The lids on the Rival choppers break and you cannot get replacements especially on the 3002 Models.
