I used to have a pouch but this case makes my trimmer look high end. The case comfortably cradles the trimmer and its charger. There is little to no slack and it does not fall out of the case if tossed (while the case is closed). So far, in my experience, the case is waterproof. I have placed it on wet surfaces and have handled the case with wet hands and the case does not seem to soak any water. It also dries petty fast. The trimmer and its charger can be easily removed from the case. The soft material is also a nice touch. Additionally, I have dropped the case with all my equipment in it, and the trimmer continue to function well, the case has no physical damage, and everything stays in place. Finally, I really like this case because of its upper compartment.
