Review: Pay close attention to reel size. MUCH larger than expected. (Rover 90) - Seems to be well made, very smooth operation. Gears are a soft brass, not bronze. (Which is a concern, I've stripped the spindle gear on other Chinese reels before) My concern was the size. It's hard to tell with desertcart descriptions and having gone too small in the past I wanted a moderately sized surf reel and ordered the Rover 90. This thing is huge. About the same size as a Penn Senator 114. It would make a decent boat reel for offshore if the gears held up. I'm going to have to return it and go at least two sizes smaller.
