Fitting is not the issue. Carrying or pulling the weight you need is the real issue. Most standard bumpers are strong enough to carry a spare tire and store the sewer hose. If you plan to do more than this you will need someone who knows what they are doing to correctly engineer a thicker and/or reinforced bumper. I removed my stock bumper which was approximately .060 thick and replaced it with a 7/16 or .437 thick bumper. 7 times thicker...no problems for me.
