In the past I've bought ones that had lids but they don't snap and have found that they lose their tightness over time. Now I can be assured that the lid wont come undone. Pros: -Sturdy plastic -Keeps food fresh -Items stay in place -Easy to clean -Perfect size for a lunchbox; slim and doesn't take up much room Cons: None!!! This product is wonderful!
