A: Its one piece.  I seen some screws but its not designed to come apart or unfold

A: Seems to be same as movie traps, but the doors do not open.

**Q: does this trap open?**
A: No, this costume accessory does not have any moving parts.

**Q: Can you hang this off your belt?**
A: While it is compact and lightweight enough to do so, it doesn't have any belt-loop features that would allow it to hang on a belt on it's own.

If I had read the product details more closely I would not have purchased this item for my son's birthday. He loves to pretend play that he's one of the Ghostbusters and was excited to add this trap to his birthday wish list. However, upon receiving this as a birthday gift, he was disappointed to learn that the trap isn't functional and asked if we could return it. We found another item with working parts at another retailer. The product looks great and I would highly recommend if you need a prop, however if you're looking for something with functioning parts there are better options elsewhere.
