A: No, Lock-Jaw Hex does not have an extra locking mechanism that needs to be depressed in order to release the collar.  Simply pulling lever will release the collar.

**Q: Do these collars work with a 1.5" (nominal) pipe, with an outer diameter of 1.9", such as specialty fat grip bars?**
A: No, HEX is for 2" / 50mm bars.  Go with the Lock-Jaw Elite AXLE collar, which fits 1.9" bars.  Available on our Amazon shop in color red.  Thank you!
