Use it to make simple syrup for old fashions. Adds a great depth to that cocktail.

We were purchasing demerara at our local grocery until they stopped carrying it so I found this and figured I would try it. The difference is noticeable! This has more depth of flavor/molasses notes to it and has made a fantastic simple syrup. We have baked with it and added it to mexican chilis. We will be ordering again and highly recommend!

I use this demerara for tiki drink and boy does it make an incredible syrup. This is the first time a rich syrup has made a significant noticeable difference. Not overwhelmingly molasses-y like some sugars, this instead has a rich almost natural earthy flavor (not dirt, but just a rich warmness) that goes great in a Mai Tai. Sugar is high quality packaged too, was fresh and moist and crumbled easily unlike many sugars that are dried out in the package.

Always a necessity for tea time.

I bought this sugar for my old fashioned drinks. Much tastier and convenient than the cubes sold here.I started using it for my baking instead of brown sugar. My cookies have become addicting to friends!I also use it in my oatmeal. This sugar adds a nice texture to eveything.Highly recommend.
