It does not come with a kit but does have a multi wire connection plug. You will need additional wires to get this connected. **Q: How does this compare to the rockville rockghost subwoofer?** A: There both really good but in my opinion the recoil rst11 is bigger and the bass hits harder then rockghost. But the rockghost is still a really good spare tire sub and they are both similar in price. I currently have the rst11 in my accord and is enough to make the mirrors vibrate a good amount and for you to feel the bass in your seat. **Q: My car only comes with a kit with a machine to seal and inflate the tire. Do i need a spare tire to use it?** A: Yes subwoffer is designed to go into a spare tire for mounting.
