A: Suspect it’s a promo model sold in the UK.  Plus, we (customer) has to pay shipping cost.

**Q: Is the steamer insert stainless steel?**
A: I believe so. It has a rubber seal around it to keep the steam contained as much as possible

**Q: Is the steamer insert removable?**
A: Steamer is a removable insert. Hardly use it but I I use the Cocotte almost every day.

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: Big markings under the lid say Made in France. I think in Alsace or near there.
