I would say these are better than the FosPower audio cables for that use. Of course you would have to buy two and it will cost more. I bought Fospower component audio video cables to use on my CD player many years ago... and they are still my preferred cables for the CD player. They replaced a pair of monster cables and I felt they were a better fit and produced better sound on CD than the monster cables.
