PROS: *The stainless steel needle is smooth, so the yarn glides effortlessly and it feels good to the touch. *The connection between the needle and the cable is smooth, so there is no catching or snagging of the yarn. *The cable is thin, sturdy, and plastic coated. *One of my favorite things about the cable is that it doesn't have a memory! I don't have to fight a curling cable because it lays straight. *The needle is marked on the side with the needle size. *The needle tips are very tapered and pointy. I found this feature great for working with smaller gauge yarn, and making a more precise stitch. CON: Because the tips are so tapered and pointy, there can be a wee learning curve using these needles. I was used to using needles with a wider tip.
