One of the buyers answers say the picture is wrong.** A: Yes, There is a patch just as pictured. There is also a patch of velcro about the size of a quarter on the top and a name tape strip of velcro on the back where you can adjust size. **Q: how do you wash this** A: I fill the sink and wash them there. Then I hang them to air dry. These are the best hats. **Q: is there velcro on the back for a patch?** A: there is a TINY piece of velcro on the back, big enough for maybe a tiny name patch, the reg size usa flag patch i bought is WAY too big for the tiny velcro.
