You have to be super careful when forming this. The $7 Shock Doctor mouthpiece is honestly better than this, so I would just recommend that one. If the outside and inside are two different colors then it has more than one layer and is more durable. I tried to get this so I would have an extra, in case my mouthpiece drops and they need to give me another one in the corner in the middle of the round... then I'd have it. This mouthguard may work for some people, it did not work for me. I've been forming mouthguards for years, I know how to do it. The problem with this is the fit wasn't perfect so I kept trying to form it and reform it and it just twisted over itself and how hot it was really hurt my teeth.
