Water was dirty and tds measured at more than 250 ppm after soaking with distilled water. **Q: Is this good for propagation?** A: it's perfect for that, it's sterile and retains moisture but is light and airy. **Q: Can I cover floral foam with this for a pampas hanging arrangement?** A: I don’t think I would try that. It’s very tightly compacted & tends to come apart in small pieces. It is not “sheet” like. You could glue it for an artificial arrangement I suppose **Q: Does this mix contain peat?
