I have a large dressing to do on a shaped part of the body so these hold the whole dressing in place ( non-adherent bandages and gauze also ) .....I like the extra 1/2 inch...to me it makes a difference...in fact if I want to put pressure over a spot where there is a bleeder I just pull gently on each end of the bandage as I put it in place.... it works great......they adhere very well..occasionally the end of a bandage might lift a little with a t-shirt I wear...I just straighten it and it readily adheres again.......they are THIN but not to worry...they work very well..no latex and a non-adherent pad too........they are removed easily too ..but take care on VERY Delicate skin.....on my chest no problem but by my throat I attach the bandage only by a small strip or corner...not the full amount of the adhesive tab....the bandage still holds very well....something you may not know..when you remove any bandage with adhesive ends and even sides always place your index finger close to where the adhesive end is and apply some pressure on the tender skin.....move the finger as you remove the bandage to keep pressure where needed....it really helps to reduce the hurt ! does not matter what age we are. ..the boxes these bandages come in are frail...so when they arrive in an Amazon envelope there is a little damage but NO damage to any of the bandages ...( I also use the non-adherent pads in the same Dynarex brand but these boxes take quite a beating although the product remains safe...).....I am thankful I had a 30 year career in nursing with the dressing I must do. ...I have had quite a time finding 2 x 4 bandages and certainly those that are a reasonable price and good quality. And it is less obtrusive of a bunch of gauze covering the wound. I would definitely recommend these Band Aids.
