The day after spraying it all dripped like engine oil on the ground. Underbody looked like runny mascara! Just left a complete mess on the parking space! Had to cleanup both the ground and the underbody. It didnt say anything on the label for suitable ambient temperature. Absolute waste! Bought two gallons. One black and one clear. Never buying again...! Review: Most people use this as a rust inhibiter during the winter months in the rust belt. For me this is my first winter using it and so far looking good. I bought a gallon and used just under a half of the gallon with a spray gun to thoroughly drench my truck. It was in 40 degree weather when I sprayed and it still flowed good using my spray gun. Prob over did it on the amount I sprayed but I don’t care, I wanted to establish a nice thick layer especially inside the frame rails. I applied it nice and thick . Many good videos on you tube on how to apply if you need some instruction. So, excellent product. Good price. Arrived on time. Thanks** A: It can but you will waste a lot of product. Fluid Film is very thick and does not get atomized well in generic spray guns. They put out way too much product in globs. The Fluid Film guns are specifically made just for this thick viscosity product. **Q: what color is this?** A: Fluid Film NAS is a light color. Kind of like honey or mustard. **Q: Does this product contain silicone?** A: No. Fluid Film does not contain silicone. **Q: Is this the same as what is in the aerosol cans? Could I just pour this in a spray bottle? Seems like a better idea to buy a gallon than 10oz can** A: I have no experience with the aerosol cans, but I can tell you that the product in the gallon can has the consistency about like that of sour cream. It is a fairly smooth product with no lumps, and it goes through the spray gun you can get for fluid film on Amazon quite well. So if you have an air comressor, you might just want to bite the bullet and get the spray setup.
