A: No idea about the model kit. This tiny drill is plastic handle. I used it to drill holes in pressed penny coin. Works ok.

**Q: may i use the hand drill with smaller bits i have than 0.8 mm, down to 0.3 mm?**
A: I have tried drill bits down to 0.5 mm, and it really doesn't grip the bit enough to use it effectively.

A: No! The drill bits are terrible and won't even cut through soft plastic or wood!
