A: Yes, this is Mopar Engine RTV sealant and is the correct sealant for timing covers. 1 tube should be enough.

A: Really? is this a trick question?  07/01/2014. Right on the bottom of the tube.

**Q: Your photo shows a date of 2014.   Do you have new tubes?**
A: Yes expiration date of 2023

**Q: All data specifies using mopar gray rtv for the 2014 wrangler 3.6 engine lower oil pan gasket. Is this a good alternative to the gray rtv?**
A: Stick with the Mopar silicone.

Recently used this to re-seal a stock pan on a 68RFE transmission, no leaks. I let it cure assembled for a few hours before adding fluid. This and the grey AC/Delco RTV are the best i've ever used...
