I put my husband on it at the same time, and lately he's been saying, "I'm really handling this a lot better than normally." Maybe you're thinking this might be a psychosomatic response. But here's the thing: my hubby has no idea about the supplements I feed him in the morning. LOL He just takes them. So he has literally no idea whatsoever that he's been taking a supplement that's supposed to help his brain work better. So it's good stuff and it works. On to the supplement itself: It's a small round pill and it goes down very easily. No problems. I think this stuff is working. I'm reluctant to say that with respect to supplements, normally, but we haven't changed anything else, so I'm feeling confident in recommending it. It'll be a part of our routine from now on. Review: I’m sure they get the job done just fine but the seal would not come off just using my fingers even though I am blessed with strong and grippy natural nails. It also came with an absurd amount of cotton wool inside so the struggle is far from over once you get the seal off. The cotton wool was so tightly packed that I had to use the business end of a sharp pair of scissors to hook it out and remove it. This is definitely a first for me. Or just folic acid?** A: Hi. Its Folate (as calcium folinate folinic acid) **Q: Does anyone notice a difference between folinic acid and methylfolate?** A: Yes. Folinic acid helps me feel less anxious. Methylfolate does not have this effect for me, and helps me focus, most noticeably. I feel considerably better with methylfolate, while folinic acid has a more subtle effect. I am homozygous C677T and take both daily. **Q: is this gluten free?** A: Glen is a part of the problem on why people with severe gluten reactions aren’t taken seriously. Cross contamination with gluten alone can be dangerous not only for celiacs. Gluten ataxia causes brain damage and seizures from gluten exposure. I came here to find the answer to this question and sadly there is usually a jerk like Glen in the bunch. It’s why as a person with celiac disease and gluten ataxia it’s difficult to trust people I don’t know with preparing anything I’m going to put in my mouth. Glen please keep your misinformed opinions to yourself. **Q: Why does it mention Krill Oil?** A: Hmmm... I think there's a mix up of another supplement's information. Source Naturals MegaFolinic doesn't have any krill oil in it at all.
