Designed for easy assembly and available in assorted painted colors, it combines humor with practical office supply storage, making it a perfect gift and a standout addition to any professional or home workspace. ## Description Some workdays are productive. Some are a dumpster fire. Fred’s DESK DUMPSTER is built for both. This mini desktop organizer turns the ultimate modern metaphor into a functional pencil holder and note-card caddy, giving your everyday supplies a place to live while adding exactly the right amount of chaos to your workspace. Each DESK DUMPSTER includes more than 100 flame-shaped paper note cards plus three separate compartments for pens, pencils, markers, scissors, and other small desk essentials. Use the flame notes for reminders, hot takes, quick messages, doodles, or tiny to-do lists, then keep the rest of your clutter contained in the organizer behind them. Fred also sells refill flame note cards separately once you burn through the originals. The caddy is made from sturdy MDF and measures approximately 4.1 x 5.5 x 2.6 inches when assembled. It ships flat-packed and requires simple pop-together assembly before use. No tools are needed, and instructions are included. Once built, DESK DUMPSTER works well on office desks, cubicles, classroom tables, dorm desks, and work-from-home setups. Reviewers frequently mention that it gets compliments and makes people laugh, while still being genuinely useful for organizing small supplies. Whether your day is on fire or you’re just writing down the next thing to deal with, Fred’s DESK DUMPSTER keeps the mess contained. Designed in Rhode Island by Fred Studio. Review: A novel and practical gift idea - The "dumpster fire" as a metaphor, that everything is always and predictably terrible, can really capture the day-to-day insanity that comes with working an office job. Here, it's nice to be able to point to something so universally recognized to relay that sentiment to a co-worker when asked, "How's it going?" The construction is solid, with the laser-cut wood assembling easily and neatly to form a pretty stable desktop caddy. The paint looks good and seems durable, with added details that give it even more personality. The fact that the lids actually function is a neat feature that adds to the practicality of its function as an caddy, but also offers some interactive fun for fidgeting. There's not a lot of room inside for knick-knacks but maybe just enough to store the smaller things you need most often. The flame-shaped notes are fun little additions. In fact, they're so integral to the design that you don't want to use them because there are only so many (and good luck finding a suitable replacement!). My wife loves it and enjoys the compliments it brings. Review: A perfect gift for a coworker or teacher - Given as a gift but from what I've seen in the photos they sent, it was easy and quick to assemble and looks great and sturdy on their desk. It's a lighthearted way to show someone you empathize while they stay organized. Perfect for a stressed out colleague or friend, the teacher that has way too many responsibilities, or even for yourself! ## Features - Unique dumpster fire desk caddy with over 100 flame notecards and compartments for pens - Durable engineered wood construction in a clever cube shape for easy assembly - Fun gag gift for friends, family, coworkers, and new hires - Painted finish available in assorted colors like red, yellow, blue, and more - Perfect humorous desk accessory to hold office supplies and make you smile ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08VN8VTQQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,015 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #25 in Pencil Holders & Pen Holders | | Brand | Fred & Friends | | Brand Name | Fred & Friends | | Capacity | 2 cubic inches | | Color | Assorted | | Customer Package Type | Standard | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 3,002 Reviews | | Finish Type | Painted | | Finish Types | Painted | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00728987036859 | | Included Components | Pencil Holder with Note Cards | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 2.56"D x 4.13"W x 5.71"H | | Item Highlight | 100+ flame note cards, 3 compartments, sturdy MDF, flat-pack design, no-tool pop-together assembly | | Item Type Name | Desk Dumpster Fire Pencil Holder with Note Cards | | Item Weight | 4.8 ounces | | Manufacturer | Lifetime Brands Inc. | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5280917 | | Material | Engineered Wood | | Material Type | Engineered Wood | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 16 ounces | | Model Number | 5280917 | | Mounting Type | No mounting required | | Number of Compartments | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Durable | | Shape | Cube | | Special Feature | Durable | | Specific Uses For Product | Stationery | | UPC | 728987036859 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Fred & Friends - **Color:** Assorted - **Finish Type:** Painted - **Item Weight:** 4.8 ounces - **Material:** Engineered Wood - **Mounting Type:** No mounting required - **Number of Compartments:** 1 - **Product Dimensions:** 2.56"D x 4.13"W x 5.71"H - **Special Feature:** Durable - **Specific Uses For Product:** Stationery ## Images ![Genuine Fred The Original DESK DUMPSTER Pencil Holder with Flame Note Cards - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/619i-ksMRlL.jpg) ![Genuine Fred The Original DESK DUMPSTER Pencil Holder with Flame Note Cards - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91QXUsFRgsL.jpg) ![Genuine Fred The Original DESK DUMPSTER Pencil Holder with Flame Note Cards - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91fuDocxotL.jpg) ![Genuine Fred The Original DESK DUMPSTER Pencil Holder with Flame Note Cards - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Ep-znQIqL.jpg) ![Genuine Fred The Original DESK DUMPSTER Pencil Holder with Flame Note Cards - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71AVVItZJsL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are refills of the flame notes available?** A: I don't think so.
