Yes, the hot iron does get very, very hot. You need to be very careful with that. Crystals are very pretty and very shiny. They are made of glass. They do a fix easily. It says on there that they only affixed to certain kinds of materials so it wouldn't work on wood, ceramics and leathers. But most clothing materials it works on and it is really fun to play with and it comes with a good amount of crystals for you to start out with. If you're a crafter I would recommend this.
