I usually drive without a canopy and prefer smaller mirrors on the original mounts. However, with the canopy on, I use large mirrors mounted to the surface of the door with five 1/4” bolts each. When I’m not using the large mirrors, I use these to plug the bolt holes. They fit snugly and small heads against the dark door are very inconspicuous.
