I'd first heard of CLA in Tim Ferris' "4 hour body" book, and made a mental note to try some. I've now tried a few different brands, and to be honest, can't really say there's much difference between them (that I can see or feel) beyond price. But as far as effect, they all seem to have a slight "turning up the metabolism" effect on me. It's kind of twofold. I feel fuller more quickly, but I also seem to be able to get away with eating more and still burning it off. I can't entirely say this is from the CLA, as a have been adding quite a bit to my workouts lately. However, where the scale wasn't moving much before, I'm seeing small but meaningful losses, all while keeping up my activity level. All in all, I'd say these work quite well for those of you seeking "body recomposition" and used with a fitness program. No pill is going to do the heavy lifting for you, but these seem to do what they claim.
